Hi, I'm Malte,
I live in northern Germany and I love to spend my time in the water.
For me, surfing and photography have always gone hand in hand. As a teenager I spent a lot of time at the beach and tried to capture my surfing friends in the best possible way. It was always my greatest wish to swim into the line-up with a camera and to feel the energy of the waves. In 2018, I bought my first water housing and now I'm always faced with the big question of whether to surf or take photos. It's often the second and that's probably why you're on my website right now.
I love being outside, using the natural light and telling stories. I'm not looking for the perfect picture, I'm looking for the special moments and I just want to capture them.
